✨Metallic Gunsmoke✨ (aka “Gunner!”) a beautiful dapple buckskin gelding with a personality and stamina that does not end. At 5 years old and 15.1 hands, Gunner is inquisitive as they come and has to check out and watch everything and everyone. He is the ADHD kid who likes to be working hard, moving his feet, or playing with something. Gunner is no slow poke, not a dead-head and he LOVES to lead a trail ride. We have hauled him to multiple public rides including Buffalo River Trails Inc. in Waynesboro TN averaging 5+ hour rides of rough terrain, Mells Fox Hounds annual Hunter pace in Lynneville TN where he placed second with no fitting up and he was easily ready for another round at the finish. We have also ridden him regularly on our many local trails and roads through the spring summer and fall and he goes without hesitation, across creeks, ditches, climbing banks, crossrails etc. and he is waiting at the barn doors excitedly ready to go again the following day. Gunner maintains a super attitude daily, ears and eyes always up and does not take hard work personally. He is a get-it-done type of horse for a true horse person. He is shown riding in video link below by an experienced 12 year old. A couple of Gunner’s attributes include:

Gunner would be best suited for a confident intermediate or above. Due to his having just started his riding career this year he still has a looky “baby” moment occasionally and would not suit a beginner or timid rider. Very mentally active personality and wants to see the world with you yesterday.

A couple of things Gunner is still in the “toddler” stages in:
He can be worried if the trail group all leaves him, has come a very long way with repetition but could still use a little more experience here.
Clipping the ears (he will tolerate it but does best snacking while clipping ears because oh the sensory overload and it tickles!)
